Description

Exhaust gas recirculation valves were introduced in the automotive market to reduce gas emissions. Manufacturers have created a way to recycle already burnt exhaust gases to the intake manifold to be re-burned and thus reduce their emissions. This is basically the fundamental operation of a EGR valve. The main problem with this concept is that these exhaust gases carry a lot of oils and fumes from the engine, which after a while tend to clog the intake manifold dramatically lowering its effectiveness. 
We have the ability to close the EGR valve permanently avoiding the accumulation of dirt in the intake manifold and all the problems associated with this.
